WELCOME TEAM CAPTAIN'S

Thank you for your participation in the 8th annual Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat races scheduled for Saturday April 30, 2011 from 8:30AM- 7:00PM at Cotanchee Fort Brook Park. We're excited to have you on board for this year's event! 

This year Asia Fest will be combined with the Dragon Boat event to provide spectators and paddlers a great day of fun and entertainment! In addition to these two exciting events, March of Dimes will also be hosting a walk at approximately 9am. Parking will be a little tricky so please plan accordingly. 
Note: Platt Street Bridge will be closed for construction.

Team Practice Information

Select the date you wish to use the practice course to check for availability.  Click on the practice time you wish to reserve, by selecting a .  Fill out the form with your team info and contact information and click submit. Reservations are not confirmed until you have received an email from us.

If you need to schedule a steersperson, we will contact you once you have made your reservation to confirm a steersperson.

The first three practices are free for teams registered for the Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat Races.  Additional practices may be scheduled, upon availability, for $100 per practice.  If you have your own steersperson the extra practice will be $80.  

Practices are held at the Marriott Waterside's Marina, slip #1.  Parking can be found in the surrounding garages at the St. Pete Times Forum, the Convention Center and at Knight's Point on Harbour Island.  Metered spaces are also available under the Crosstown Expressway, in between Franklin and Tampa streets.

2011 Team Pledge Drive

This pledge drive is to raise funds for FACTors Breast Cancer Patient Support Program at Moffitt Cancer Center and The Florida Aquarium.

With your participation this will be the best one yet! Don’t forget it’s not too late to challenge your competition.
